My woman has been busy getting ready for her doggy massage test. She said it's for kitties too but her idea of handling the kitties is to get a stick so I don't think she'll be good at massaging kitties! Her test is next week! All week!! So I've been busy helping her get ready. We've gone through the gajillion pages of notes and study material she printed out and got her binder organized. I'm exhausted. Getting massages every day is hard work!! My knee is healing really good. My rehab vet can't tell which knee was injured anymore. I still can't do things I like to do like run around like a crazy woman and jump things but I get to do a little more after each visit. It's so good, I now go to the rehab vet every 4 weeks instead of every 3 weeks. The rehab vet said the scar tissue that has built up is helping stabilize my knee without affecting my knee cap or joint movement. I still do the underwater treadmill. I got to go from every week to every other week. Friday I did the treadmill after getting worked on by the vet and they had me do my longest, fastest session with less water than normal. We're still having a lot of rain. My people got the drainage hose hooked into a downspout so no more hose going through the front yard to the sidewalk. I helped by digging in my dirt pile because I knew they'd need some dirt. It's been really warm too. Flowers and some trees are blooming, bees are out, the huge mosquitoes are eating my woman, and we have the windows open a lot. I also helped clean the dryer vent, weed the yard, fix the gate, and did my usual jobs. When it doesn't rain at night, and I'm not too tired, we go for walks after my people eat dinner. If I'm tired, I don't get to go for walks because of my knee. My muscles get too tired to work right so I walk funny and put too much strain on my other muscles. When that happens, I sometimes get to go grocery shopping with my people. My man sits in my car with me and we wait for my woman to come back. Comments are closed.
