I'm helping my man build a new trunk/bed platform for our Jeep! The one we have now is too short for the cooler we will be taking with us this year to Montana.
Since I eat raw food now, we'll be taking all the food I need in the new cooler. My woman says it will be too hard to find me food I can eat there because all the closest grocery store has is enhanced chicken and expensive steak. And she says she doesn't know if the next closest store that will be a 90 minute drive would have anything I can eat either. My man has wanted to build a new taller trunk for a while and now he has a reason. He's been cutting metal and welding all weekend. I've been helping by keeping the squirrels from stealing things and herding cats! My man was hoping to get it all finished today because where he works he had a 5-day holiday weekend and he goes back to work Wednesday. He doesn't know if he'll be able to get it all done today but he'll get most of it done and we'll be able to finish it up this weekend. This weekend I'll be Barking For Life. It's a doggy fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. I've raised $200.00. I was hoping to raise more but we have had problems getting people to donate. Everyone who did donate has gotten a kiss from me though. If they live close enough, they get a real kiss. If they live far away, I send them a kiss on my woman's computer! We had some really hot weather this weekend. It was so hot I didn't even chase the cats or the red squirrels! I DID play in my pool though. A LOT!!!! And I went swimming at the dog pool on Saturday.
It's cooling off which I like. I still get to play in my pool but it's not too hot to play with friends and scare cats that shouldn't be here!!! My woman made a mistake with my organs on Thursday and Friday and fed me too much. I had rocket butt and had to skip eating for a while then I started eating just chicken with no skin. I should be back on my normal food by this weekend. My woman promised not to do math in her head anymore when it comes to how much organs she feeds me at one time! |
