Yesterday I got to play in my pool for the 1st time this year!!!!! It was warm and dry all weekend so my yard wasn't a muddy mess and my people got my pool out for me to splash in. I was so excited!!!
My kitty friend Morgan (he lives with Maury) was lost all weekend. I looked for him on Thursday night and found some places he had been but then his smell went into the blackberry bushes. I looked for him again Friday morning. He came home Sunday night. All the humans are thinking the creepy people who live behind my house saw him out prowling and took him because they knew things about Morgan they shouldn't and lied about being gone all weekend. They did the same thing when another cat accidentally got out. Now Morgan and Maury will have to be inside kitties and when they both get settled they can come over to play with me in my house. My people tell me I'll start eating beef kidney soon. I've been eating liver and my woman wants to see how much I can eat in one day. Today I'll be eating 2.5 days worth of liver. My woman says she needs to find another organ for me to eat but the kidney will do for a while! Spring has finally come to my little corner of Oregon! It stays light for a lot longer so more of my friends come out to play! And it isn't raining as much and I'm losing a lot of undercoat because it is starting to get warm!!
My rehab vet is happy with my progress so I don't have to see her as often. That makes me happy! And my people said I was doing so good I only had 1 new exercise to add. Jumping from a sit which is something I really like to do! I had my woman redo the Beginner's Guide To Raw Feeding since I'm now raw fed and she has more experience. I told her to make it look pretty. I'm happy with the way it looks even though no one has actually read it yet for spelling mistakes. Today I turned 5 years old! I will get to see my bestest friends and take them treats. I also get to do what I want to do today!!! "Within reason" whatever THAT means! My woman says I get to go to the gas station tomorrow to gas up the Kia! I love going to the gas station because the people who pump the gas usually have dog bones!!!
My woman always makes me a special birfday meal but this year because I'm raw fed, she won't be doing that. Instead I'm getting St. Louis Style pork spareribs, beef roast, some chicken thigh meat and a little salmon. YUM!!!! My people were hoping the weather was going to be nice enough today to go to the beach but it's only supposed to be in the 40s with possible thunderstorms. Yesterday we put together treat bags for my bestest friends and put the candy bar wrappers my woman made on the candy bars we bought for my friends' humans! We took the bag for my BFF over last night. Jonny, Sammy and I played for almost an hour and didn't destroy the house!!! And Tommy the cat didn't swat me either. I don't mess with him but he gets kind of cranky because he's old and sometimes swats me when I go by him. I usually don't even know he's there when he swats me. |
