Eye Problems, Snake Herding

I've been having goopy eyes since spring.  My left one has been a lot worse.  I've gone to the vet 3 times to make sure I haven't hurt my eye diving into a bush after balls and kitties.  Each time my eye has been fine.
Last time was a couple of weeks ago.  The vet said my eye looked normal and there wasn't even any redness.  But she wanted my people to give me an allergy pill, keep using the eye wash from the store and put eye drops in my eye that have steroids and antibiotics in them.
My people decided not to do that since my eye was fine, just goopy.
My woman stopped using the eye wash in case I was having a problem with the preservatives in it. She started using a homeopathic eye drop, gave me some homeopathic remedies for eye issues and hay fever and started researching natural allergy relief stuff.
The next morning eye woke up eye gunk free for the 1st time in months.  That afternoon my woman went and picked up some stuff that are good for allergies and joints.  I started getting quercetin that night.
My eye by the tear duct started getting big gobs of stuff coming out so my man talked to the vet.  She said any little swelling could have made the tear duct kind of close up and with the swelling going away, it was allowing the gunk to come out.
I'm still getting the quercetin and homeopathics daily and I get the eye drops when needed.  

Over the weekend I had to do some snake herding so my man could mow.  I'm a good snake herder.  My woman helped.
