The eye doctor said my eyes have Lipid Keratopathy.  The humans say that means I have fat going to my eyeballs.  She also said I have Non-Ulcerative Inflammatory Ocular Lesions on my left eye.  I have to use an NSAID eye drop for those.  I see her again in May and have some new supplements I take.

My man disappeared for a week earlier this month.  My woman said he had to go to the hospital to have surgery.  At least this time the people in the boxy truck with the flashing lights didn't come into my house and take him away.  I did much better with it this time!  I made him a pictured to hang in his room!

I hope everyone had a furtastic holiday season.  Mine was really good except for the things that scare me and hurt my ears that people were using December 31.

I had a good Turkey Day.  My people ended up picking up 2 turkeys!  Long story short, the Heritage turkey we ordered was too small so we decided to go ahead and have a local organic free range turkey set aside for us too.  That turkey ended up being a black-feathered turkey too and it was really good!  The small turkey is in my freezer, if my people treat me right, I may be generous and share it with them!

The Sunday before Dogmas, I was making a place to sleep on my people's bed, got the sheet wrapped around my paw, and fell onto my left side on the bed.  My people could tell it hurt and were afraid I'd hurt my knee but after I was able to get up and walk, they knew I hadn't hurt myself really bad.
The next day was my rehab vet appointment and it turns out I sprained my left hock (ankle in you human animals), knocked my pelvis out of alignment, and caused a restriction in my diaphragm.  Just think how much damage I could have cause if I'd fallen OFF the bed instead on on it!  My people say they should have named me Train Wreck!
Everything in my hock was still intact so I just have to take it easy (the rehab vet snickered when she said this).  My woman has a stretch she does to keep the ligaments and tendons for tightening up but not staying too loose as they heal and another thing she does to keep the hock joint from becoming restricted as it heals.  I like both of them.  She also uses one of the essential oil blends made for injuries like this.

Dogmas was filled with toys and treats from my animal friends.  My man was off work from December 24 until the Monday after New Year's.
I went and saw Santa which was very exciting until I got there, said hi, and remembered Santa is a boring guy!  There were a couple of reindeer there but they were also boring!  Why can't Santa's sleigh be pulled my cows?  Cows are exciting to a half Cattle Dog!!
I got treats and a toy from Maury's people.  I really miss Maury!
Jonny, Sammy, and Poe got me treats.  Really nummy treats!
Katie, Berkeley, and Orange Cat got me treats.
My massage ladies got me a bunch of treats and a toy.
My people gave me 2 playground balls and my woman made me the perfect squeaky toy!
We had rib roast for dinner!

While my man was on his winter break, we went for long walks every day, hung out, went places, and replaced the garage door opener which broke on New Year's Eve.
I was not happy when he went back to work!!!!

My nose is doing great! The rehab vet was very happy with the progress it had made in 3 months.

Next week I go to see a new doctor.  It is a Veterinary Ophthalmologist.  My people say it is a doctor that specializes in eyeballs.  She is going to look at my eyeballs to see what is causing some cloudy patches to appear.
