I turned 8 years old on Sunday! Saturday I went over to my best friend's house to give him and Sammy and Poe some treats to help me celebrate. Jonny didn't want to play because he was hungry but Poe and I played. He likes to attack my tail and sides but he keeps his claws in. I "bite" his face and lick him. He seems to like that because he meows at me and rubs on me when I do that. And he plays. I had a birfday swim on Saturday and had a lot of fun. I wore myself out. Sunday I went for a nice walk and got a playground ball to kill. Birfdays are exhausting!!!!!!!! My woman started giving me a fish oil capsule and Zeel and Traumeel tablets with my evening supplements. This means I don't get my evening essential oils but my limp is much better. Yesterday was my 1st weekly massage. Last week was my normal every other week massage. I like it! My Birfday photos are posted under Special Days. Photos from December My man went back to work yesterday. I didn't want him to leave. I spent all day under my blanket, snuggled with my woman, sleeping. It was hard being his protector, nurse maid, and physical therapist for 9 weeks! I'm exhausted! I start weekly massages with Beth and Rubi (when Beth can't make it) today. My people noticed I moved better when I had 2 massages in 2 weeks. I've started limping when I move at a certain pace. My woman is going to tell the rehab vet when I go in 2 weeks. My people think it's my right shoulder which is my bad shoulder because my left hip is my worst hip and that shoulder has to do more work. This weekend was a busy one. I made sure the mower didn't get out of line while my man was using it and I had to keep the ducks out of my yard plus take my man for walks. My man bought a big box of candy bars yesterday, my woman printed and cut a bunch of pieces of paper that fit the candy bars, we bought treats for some of my best friends, and they said we have to go buy some cans of cat food That means 1 thing. My birfday is coming! My people don't know what happened but my nose started bleeding where the black hasn't filled back in yet after my man got home. They are hoping it's not another Lupus flare.
