My nose hasn't fallen off my face from the Lupus so that's a good thing! Last week we went to the rehab vet to pick up more of the doxycycline and then stopped at my new vet to pick up the Chinese herb that came in. I ate a lot of liver treats while I was there!!!!! Where my nose lost the hair is looking pretty fuzzy now. More texture has come back on it too. The wounds are still slowly healing. Some days they look worse than others but my people say even when they are worse, they are still better than they were the time before. My BFF Jonny has been sick this week. A couple of week ago, he had surgery to remove a broken molar, remove a skin thing from an eyelid, and poke a needle into 2 lumps that showed up all of a sudden to see what was in them. All that went fine. Monday he started throwing up in the middle of the night and didn't want food or water. He went to the vet and got fluids and a shot to make him stop throwing up. He hasn't eaten since then, they've had to make him drink water, and he won't poop. Yesterday he didn't want to walk, his hind end was shaking, his fur was standing up on his butt, and his heart was beating really fast. He's at the vet today to have x-rays taken to make sure everything is OK inside. He hasn't wanted to eat or drink. I went over there this morning to help get him into his car and he ran up to see me and then wanted to go for a walk. He tried to poop but really couldn't and he still wasn't eating and was drinking a little but not enough. While I was waiting for Jonny to get back from his walk, I chased squirrels in Maury's yard. If I was into the actual catching of squirrels (been there, done that, bored me to death), I would have had one. I was between it and the big oak tree so instead of running to the next tree, it ran for the oak tree and jumped onto the trunk right in front of my face. I bashed it with my muzzle and let it go up the tree. It may be the 2nd dumbest squirrel I've encountered. The dumbest one was the one I walked up behind and it didn't realize I was there. I was so close to it, my breath made it's fur ripple. It took awhile for it to realize I was there. Comments are closed.
