We left home at noon, stopped at the Otis Cafe for lunch and got to our rental house at 3:20 p.m. It was the same house we stayed in for our April trip! We put our stuff up and headed 500 ft. to the stairs to the beach. I played on the beach for a long time until I got hungry and said it was time to go back to the house so I could eat my chicken!
Beach Fun
I went for a long walk along the beach to the Coast Guard station and back to the house. I saw a sea lion carcass on my walk! I ate breakfast, my people ate lunch and I slept until about 3:00 p.m. and played on the beach until dinner.
Beach Fun and a Drive
I played on the beach in the morning, went back to the house and slept while my people ate lunch. We went for a drive along Yaquina Bay and then I slept until it was time to play on the beach before dinner.
Headed Home
I ate breakfast, we packed the car and drove the 60 seconds down to the public parking that has the ramp to the beach. It was rainy and breezy so I only played for an hour or so. We gassed up the Kia and drove to Otis for lunch then drove home. I slept the rest of the day and night!
