This spring I got to do something I have never done... go to Cannon Beach and spend the night! It was really weird because we would go to Cannon Beach, play in the water, play on the beach, walk around town, get some fish and chips, and then drive home. I got to stay in a hotel room that had a little kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom and it was right next to the place where you go down the stairs to the beach!
We checked in and went down to the beach. It was my 1st time at the beach in almost 7 years! It was cold and drizzly but a lot of fun. I made a new dog friend on the beach then found out she was staying in the room next door! For dinner that night we had FISH AND CHIPS!!! I really like fish so my people ate the chips and the breading off the fish for me. My room had a door onto the patio so I got to lay down in the open doorway and sleep and watch the world go by and listen to the ocean and the birds.
The next morning, I took my walk on the beach then walked around town for a while. After I ate breakfast, my people took me to the crepe place! I had smelled the crepe place when we walked to get fish and chips the night before but my people said the crepe place was closed for the night. They got me a ham and cheese crepe and it was really good! After they ate, we put our stuff back in the car and drove home.
